This guitar features a resonant ash body finished in an open-grain Root Beer gloss that lets the wood breathe and the tone sing. A beautifully figured flame maple neck pairs with a striking katalox fretboard, highlighted by the Taylor Hunnicutt Band logo inlaid at the 12th fret — a nod to its roots and its road warrior spirit.

Under the hood, you’ll find a dynamic pickup pairing: our Buckshot in the neck position delivers warm, articulate tones with clarity and depth, while the Sweet-T at the bridge brings that snappy, twangy punch you expect from a classic T-style. Together, they’re a perfect blend of southern soul and gritty attitude.

Tone shaping is simple yet powerful, with a master volume, master tone, 3-way switch, and our signature BassBender control, giving you a wide spectrum of tonal options — from vintage sparkle to thick, growling mids.

Each instrument is lightly aged to feel like an old favorite right out of the case — broken in, worn just right, and ready for the stage.

The initial $500 deposit gets you in our build queue and is applied toward the total price of the instrument. This down payment is nonrefundable. The remaining balance will be due upon completion and before the instrument is shipped to you.
