Patterson Guitars: Them Dirty F’N Buckers
Andrew Davis Signature Model
Introducing the T.D. F’N Buckers—a high-output humbucker developed in close collaboration with Andrew Davis, lead guitarist of Southern rock powerhouse Them Dirty Roses. Designed to deliver the exact tone Andrew demands on stage and in the studio, these pickups are featured in his custom-built signature Rambler guitar by Patterson Guitars.
Born from Collaboration
Over the course of several months, we worked side-by-side with Andrew to dial in his ideal sound. The result is a pickup that captures the raw, gritty energy of Southern rock with clarity, punch, and dynamic feel. From smoky leads to fire-breathing rhythm work, the T.D F’N Bucker does it all—and it does it loud.
Modern Muscle. Vintage Backbone.
Wound to an aggressive 12K ohms and built around classic Alnico 5 magnets, the T.D F’N Bucker pushes amps harder while maintaining the harmonic detail and focus of a great vintage humbucker. The highs cut through, the lows stay tight, and the mids carry the weight of the mix.
Tailored for the Demands of the Road
With six adjustable pole screws and four-conductor wiring, the T.D F’N Bucker gives you full control over your sound. Coil-splitting, phase switching, series/parallel—this pickup is as flexible as it is fierce. Fully wax-potted and road-tested, just like Andrew’s signature Rambler.
