Texas Tornado

Description

Even the most dedicated Telecaster enthusiast sometimes wants to unleash their inner Stevie Ray Vaughan. Our Texas Tornado is built from the sound up to make that happen. Handcrafted in Northeast Alabama at my small workshop. The metal cover on our Tornado pickups adds a gritty sound, so we’ve utilized a custom open-top cover for our Texas Tornado to replicate that scorching Stratocaster neck tone. We’ve also chosen a specific type of magnet, a unique winding method, and 42-gauge heavy build coil wire, commonly used in Strat pickups. This combination produces a richer, clearer, and more vibrant Strat-like sound. Pair it with our Standard T Series or Uppercut Deluxe bridge pickups for outstanding results. Made with Alnico 5 magnets and vintage-style cloth-covered lead wire.
